Mindfulness Workshop for Adults with ADHD and/or Anxiety

Terry Huff, MA, MSSW, psychotherapist and author of Living Well with ADHD, is offering a 3-hour workshop on Meditating with ADHD and/or Anxiety. Research shows that mindfulness practice improves concentration, attention regulation, self-observation, working memory, and emotion regulation.

The workshop will include lecture, practice, and discussion and will address:

  1. How to work with
    1. different states of attention
    2. anxious feelings
    3. observing and redirecting

2. Practices for

  1. selective attention (focusing)
  2. open awareness (expanding)
  3. self-compassion

The fee is $50 and due by the registration deadline of July 18; $60 after the deadline. A reduced fee is available to anyone who cannot afford the full fee. Inquire to Terry at the email below.
